Over the three day weekend we went up north to the white mountains with my parents. We stayed at a friends quaint little cabin that has a great patio and is full of unique antiques. The weather up there was perfect complete with a little rain. Here are some of the highlights from our weekend.
We went to the Taylor Corn Festival and enjoyed navajo tacos and roasted corn.

Jack LOVED all the green grass. He ran and ran and ran...

Picked apples off the tree

Witnessed one of nature's great miracles

We visited an old pioneer home. They raised 13 kids in this tiny one room home. I'm so thankful for all the pioneers who sacrificed all that they had and even their lives at times to come across the plains. These were amazing men and women.

Visited the Snowflake Temple grounds

Even Jack liked the Temple

Watched some good 'ol fashioned team roping

Cute cabin where we stayed
It was so great to get out of the heat for a few days. We are so lucky in Arizona that we can drive just a few hours and be in the beautiful pine trees.
