So many people are struggling this holiday season financially that it seems hard to get into the christmas spirit. I have fell victim to this as I look at all the wonderful things I could buy my friends and family if I only I had money. I know christmas isn't about the presents but I love buying and making things for people and its hard to get into the christmas mood when you are unable to do those things. For my birthday I thought it would be fun to go caroling and spread some holiday cheer. In the words of Buddy from the movie Elf...."The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear." A group of about 35 of us met at our house and toured the neighborhood singing and checking out the lights. Unfortunately we weren't very loud so we will have to practice before next year. Thank you to everyone that came and participated. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family. Love you all!
