Merry Christmas!

We were lucky enough to have Ryan's parents here for christmas this year. They flew down from Washington to enjoy some sunny weather but unfortanely it rained a lot while they were here. Regardless of the weather we still enjoyed our time together. Here is a recap of our week with the Howards.
As you know, Ryan and I LOVE to walk around the Riparian Institute. So when the weather was nice enough we went and walked around and enjoyed the beautiful desert scenery.

No Arizona Christmas would be complete without going to the Temple to see all the BEAUTIFUL lights. We also enjoyed the free concert while we were there.

We had the pleasure of going to the infamous Turley Christmas breakfast this year. They do it every year and this year they served more than 250 people that morning. A HUGE thank you to the Turleys for all the FABULOUS food.

CHRISTMAS EVE
We spent Christmas eve at my moms house since my brother Josh had to work on Christmas day. We had our famous talent show or lack of talent show followed by lots of entertainment by the grandkids. Ryan, Jack, and I sang Mele Kalikimaka at the talent show. Jack is the best singer in the family. ha ha

Mom reading a story............. the hula singers

Bryn loved her tutu I made her.............Josh looks so excited for xmas

The two dads (Mine on the left and Ryans on the right)

Me with baby Lu, she is so tiny................Jack was mad about the bow
We wanted to show Mom and Dad that Arizona really does have water so we drove them up to Canyon Lake. It was cold that day but the scenery was great.

On friday night, both sets of parents and us went to dinner and had LOTS and LOTS of crab legs. I think I gained 2 pounds in that one meal.

More pictures from the riparian on our second trip there.

Ryan's dad loved all the cactus. This one is as big as him.

We also visited the Goldfield Ghost Town. We had lots of fun browsing and then we rode the train around to hear about the history of the town.

Thanks for coming Mom and Dad, we had a wonderful time and hopefully next time you come it will be warmer. P.S. Jack misses you already
