I wanted some new pictures of Ryan and I since we don't have many since we have been losing weight. Here are a few that we took while in Idaho! WARNING-- they are VERY cheesy!
Okay where do I find confidence like that to full on do a photo shoot of just me and Brett? I need to work on that don't I... DARLING PICTURES!!! Did you feel like you were getting married again doing your engagement pictures? Looks like you guys had fun with his family!
22 hours in the car...wowza! What a dedicated aunt you are. What a cute couple. You look amazing, pretty soon you will have nothing left of you to lose!

It all began in late August of 2006. I had just arrived home from Hawaii where I had spent a couple of weeks relaxing in the sun with some friends. Needless to say...I was single and LOVIN it
Ryan was living in Washington, and with the help of a mutual friend, we began talking. It was by computer at first and sometimes for hours a night. After a few weeks it was obvious that something was brewing and we just HAD to meet. He set the date (Oct. 6th) and got plane tickets and a little over a month after we started talking, he was on his way.
I can still remember how hard my heart was pounding while I was waiting for him to step off the airplane...My mind was racing... Will he like me? Will I like him? Will there be any chemistry in person?? And everything else that races through your mind in that split second. So here it was, the moment had arrived, I see him as he emerges from the hallway... but wait, why did he just walk right past me??? This can't be a good sign! Did he see me?? Am I not pretty enough?? But wait, he's turning and is that a smile on his face?
So the beginning was a little ackward but by the next day we had adjusted to one another. That weekend he stayed until Monday... we'll call it "Black Monday" and then he went home and I didn't know if I'd ever see him again. Now for those of you that know me... know that I'm not emotional but after I dropped him off that day, I cried. That's when I knew that there was something there.
I flew out to see him three weeks later and two months after that he picked up his life and moved to Arizona. Which I will be forever truly grateful.
By June we were engaged and on October 5th, 2007 we were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Just one day shy of our first encounter the previous year.
