Yesterday was my brother Ben's 34th birthday! We went to dinner at Oregano's in downtown Phoenix ( a family favorite). Our table was overflowing with salads and pizzas. We passed on the kickbutt garlic bread (too many calories) but thank goodness you can get wheat crust on the pizza because it was fantastic. If you live in Arizona and haven't been to Oreganos.... shame on you!
The dilemna of the night was passing up the Pizzookie for dessert. They take cookie dough and bake it until it is almost done, then pull it out and put vanilla ice cream on top. It is to die for! But, I was good and didn't eat any, so lets hope it pays off when I go to weigh in tomorrow!
